The Finding Your Voice Workshops for Women is a transformative program designed to empower women to discover and harness their inner strength, confidence, and potential.
This initiative provides a supportive environment for women to explore their passions, overcome self-doubt, and achieve personal and professional growth.
Helping Women ‘Find Their Voice’
Women are less likely to progress out of junior roles or into senior roles and are more likely to be overqualified for the role they are in*
Supporting women to progress can help to make the best use of their skills and experience, help to attract and retain talent, and improve productivity and performance.
*Government’s Equalities Office
We would like to think that gender is taken out of the equation when it comes to promotion and progression of women. Internal EDI initiatives are introduced, making gender diversity a priority, however the outcomes are often frustrating, women still having to overcome the unconscious gender bias found in many organisations to get promoted, to progress and fight to earn respect and to be taken seriously.
If taken less seriously, women will be paid less, promoted less, feel less confident and feel less entitled to success.
When women recognise the subtle and pervasive effects of gender bias, they feel empowered, not victimised, because they can take action to counter those effects. They can put themselves forward for leadership roles when they are qualified but have been overlooked. They can seek out sponsors and others to support and develop them in those roles.
Such understanding makes it easier for women to “lean in.”

Finding Your Voice programme is a series of workshops for groups of women that utilises coaching techniques. Its aim is to support women to develop this understanding and to make choices that are right for them, making the best use of their strengths and skills, improve opportunities and fulfil their potential. It is a programme that supports women to gain clarity and renewed purpose, to move beyond self-doubt, overcome fears and inner blocks, to become more confident and courageous, build resilience and to become powerful communicators, by identifying and actioning changes in both their professional and personal lives.

Yvonne Devereux
Hello, I’m Yvonne Devereux, a leadership coach with 20 years of experience in leadership training and mentoring across various levels, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the table. My expertise lies in empowering female leaders, drawing from my extensive background in fashion retail and more recently within the fire service working to support female development and foster male allyship.
My business mission is to “be the change you wish to see, your passion is your power.” This philosophy drives everything I do, inspiring individuals to harness their passion and transform it into powerful leadership. The work I do stems from my own personal journey and seeing the power that can be created by investing in yourself.
I specialise in supporting individuals with self-development as well as aspiring and existing leaders through personalised coaching sessions. My focus is on self-leadership and personal development to reach your full potential. I believe you can’t effectively lead others until you can lead yourself.
My client feedback highlights the transformative impact of self-awareness in their lives. The empowerment and motivation that follows helps them achieve their potential, which is incredibly rewarding for me.
I am a certified coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), having trained with Optimus Coach Academy. I am also a member of the Chartered Management Institute.

Fiona Porter
Hello, I am Fiona, I am passionate about developing others and have over 30 years of experience in leadership training, coaching and mentoring. I bring with me a wealth of personal development and leadership experience and I have a great understanding of the challenges facing clients, both on a personal and professional level, at whatever stage of their journey.
During my time, I have worked with 1,000s of leaders across the world, from emerging leaders to senior leaders in both the private, public and third sector, helping them to become successful and confident in their role, to become the leaders that organisations need them to be to take the business forward. My years of experience and knowledge has given me valuable insight into what makes a great leader, and it has taught me that when you develop mindset and behaviours alongside skills you achieve transformational results.
I have always supported others, especially women, to develop their confidence and find their voice. My ‘Finding Your Voice’ workshops grew out of my own experience of lacking in self-confidence, not believing in myself and playing it small, that I wasn’t enough, not to mention imposter syndrome! I have come to learn that listening to my inner voice, believing in myself, is key to identifying what’s important and what I want to achieve in my life and going out and getting it!
I am a Chartered Fellow of CIPD, and an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation and trained with the world-class coaching school, Barefoot Coaching, gaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching from Chester University.
I am an EQ-i 2.0 and EQ360 practitioner, providing EQ assessments to support people in developing their emotional intelligence.
I am accredited to deliver ILM qualifications in Leadership & Management and Coaching & Mentoring.
I volunteer with EMCC UK and a lead coordinator for the EMCC UK Mentoring Special Interest Group. I am also part of the panel that reviews the EMCC UK Mentoring Programme.
